Benjamin McKenzie is the elder of two brothers, Nate and Zack. His father, Pete Schenkkan, is a lawyer and his mother, Mary Frances, is a known poet.
Graduated in economics and foreign affairs at the University of Virginia in 2001, he then began to play in different parts, as a measure for measure or zoo story.
