Biography for Jameson Parker

Jameson Parker is best known for his role as A.J. Simon on "Simon & Simon" (1981), which ran on CBS for eight seasons. He was born in Baltimore and saw most of the capitals of Europe during his father's foreign service career. Young Parker also managed to see an inordinate number of boarding schools, claiming to have attended 10 in 13 years, and being bounced out of two.

During a recuperative year off, he acted and worked in production at the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. and he returned to finish his Beloit degree in theater arts in 1972. After graduation, he moved to New York, getting his first big break in a commercial for a breath mint. It helped him to get his role on the NBC soap "Somerset" (1970), which led to a two year part on ABC's "One Life to Live" (1968). He moved to LA in 1980. He loves camping and hunting.

Originally from Maryland, Jameson Parker finally knows recognition thanks to his role in the series. Like his

"Brother", he will continue his career in television production.

However, he attempted some inconvenience (in terms of success) in the cinema. His noblest appearance in the cinema will remain the role of Brian in the prince of darkness of the great John Carpenter.

Trivia

Jameson Parker was shot twice by a neighbor on October 1, 1992 near his condominium in Studio City in a dispute over dog waste. He was released from the hospital a day later. The man who shot him was charged with attempted murder and sentenced to 9 years in state prison. (?) Won the "Sandoz-Jeff's Companion Animal Shelter Award" in the Dog Writers Association Writing Contest for his article "Eulogy" (Ducks Unlimited)
