Jason Kent Bateman is an American actor born January 14, 1969 in Rye New York.

Jason began his career as a very young actor in the La Petite Maison series in La Prairie, where he played from 1981 to 1982 the role of James Cooper Ingalls. Became the DGA's youngest-ever director when he directed 3 episodes of "The Hogan Family" (1988) at the age of 18 years.

He won the celebrity portion of the Long Beach Grand Prix in 1987.
