Jason Gray Stanford is a Canadian actor born May 19, 1970 in Vancouver.

Mainly known for having interpreted the role of Lieutant Randall Disher in the Monk series. He began his career as a duplicate of cartoons.

He participated in many series such as Highlander, Sliders, Les Mondes parallels or The Sentinel, in the cinema he appeared in Mystery, Alaska, an exceptional man from Ron Howard as well as Memoirs of our Fathers as Clint Eastwood.

Jason Gray-Stanford is a Canadian actor known for his role in the Monk television series. He was born on June 24, 1970 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He studied at the Hamilton District Christian High School before continuing his Stage Arts studies at York University.

Gray-Stanford began his acting career in 1995, playing in theatrical productions in Toronto. He notably played in rooms such as Hamlet and A Midsummer Night's Dream. In 1999, he made his cinema debut in the film The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle.

Gray-Stanford has also played in several television series, including The Dead Zone, Millennium and Stargate SG-1. But it was his role in the Monk series that made him famous. He played Lieutenant Randy Disher, detective assistant Adrian Monk, performed by Tony Shalhoub. The series was broadcast between 2002 and 2009 and won numerous prizes, including eight Primetime Emmy Awards.

Gray-Stanford also appeared in films such as The Mask of Zorro, Spider-Man 2 and The Whole Ten Yards. Apart from his acting career, he is also a member of the North Shore Children's Theater Company in Vancouver.
