Biography for Megan Mullaly

Megan is an only child born in Los Angeles, California. Her mother, Martha, was a model. Her father, Carter Mullally Jr., is a retired contract player for Paramount. Megan first entered Northwestern University intending to study acting, but switched to English literature. However, she still ended up starring in several campus musicals, which gained attention from producers and prompted her to drop out of school. In 1985, she moved to Los Angeles with no particular success. But, in 1994, she co-starred in "Grease" with Rosie O'Donnell and, in 1995, in "How To Succeed In Business" with Matthew Broderick. Her star has been rising ever since.

At Lyçée, Megan is rather turned towards the ballet but she quickly realizes that it is rather the comedy that interests her. During the university, in addition to English literature studies, she plays in plays and musicals.

We have seen it in many series in main roles (The Ellen Burstyn Show, My Life and Times, Rachel Gunn, R.N. And Will & Grace). She also appeared in the Ned & Stacey, Seinfeld, Frasier, crazy, crazy you, that's!, Arabesques and third planet before the sun. On the theater side, she has played in many plays and in particular we saw her on Broadway in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" with Matthew Broderick and in "Grease" with Rosie O'Donnell.
