Richard Bull was an American actor known for his role as Nels Oleson in the television series "The little house in the meadow". He was born on December 26, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in the city of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Bull began his acting career in the 1950s, playing in plays in New York. He then appeared in television series such as "The Twilight Zone" and "Perry Mason". In 1974, he joined the cast of "La Petite Maison in La Prairie", where he played the role of Nels Oleson, the owner of the general shop of the city of Walnut Grove, until the end of the series 1983.

Apart from his acting career, Bull was also a talented musician. He had learned to play the violin when he was a child and continued to play the instrument throughout his life. In addition to his work as an actor and musician, Bull was also a member of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) and the Screen Actors Guild (SAG).

Bull died on February 3, 2014 at the age of 89. His career as an actor over fifty has earned him the respect and admiration of his peers, as well as millions of fans around the world. Although his death was a shock for his relatives and admirers, his work remains a source of inspiration for future generations of actors and musicians.
