Leon Russom is an American actor born December 06, 1941 in Little Rock Arkansas. He is known for having interpreted the role of General Jonathan Krantz, the leader of the cartel in the prison break series.

Leon Russom began his career at the end of the 1960s, in the Soap Opera Haine and Passion, from 1976 to 1980 he plays the role of Willis Frame in Another World.

He appeared in many series, including Mission Impossible Mission, the law is the law, 21 Jostreet, Matlock, the Los Angeles law, New York Judiciare Police, New York Police Blues, Dark Skies, Star Trek : Deep Space Nine, Arabesque, Jag, Le Chamedre or Cold Case.

Leon Russom is an American actor known for his work in films, television and theater. He began his career in the 1970s and continued to work actively since. He appeared in many films, including "In the Line of Fire" (1993), "Clear and present danger" (1994) and "The Man Who Was There" (2001), as well as in television series such as that "Prison Break" and "True Detective". Russom is also an accomplished theater actor, who played in many productions on Broadway and other renowned theaters. He has won numerous prizes for his performance, including an obie price for his performance in the play "The Tooth of Crime". Apart from his acting career, Russom is also an active political activist and a member of the United States Communist Party. He continues to work in the entertainment industry and is considered one of the most talented and respected actors of his generation.
