Although she may be best remembered as Little House On The Prairie's resident spoiled brat, Alison's career has blossomed to encompass many areas of the entertainment industry. Pretty good for a bad girl !

Alison was born on January 18, 1962 in New York. She is the second child of the Arngrim family. Thor, the dad, is an actor, producer and manager. Norma, the mother, lends her voice to the cartoons of cartoons.

The tone is set: just like for his older brother Stefan, Alison's life will, very quickly, marked with artistic influences. And as proof, she was just seven years old when she made her first steps as an actress in the Room 222 series in 1969.

The year 1974 will mark an important turning point in his young life. In addition to his participation in the film Throw Out the Anchor, Alison won the role of Nellie Oleson in the television series La Petite Maison in La Prairie ... and it's gone for seven years of an extraordinary adventure that will be known to be known in the whole world!

But Alison will not be satisfied with his famous role of plague. Simultaneously, she continues roles in various television series and is interested in the world of theater. Indeed, from the age of fifteen, Alison climbs on the boards and embarks on the stand-up comedy, a very popular genus across the Antlantic and which she particularly likes.

To define the stand-up comedy, we could say that it is a one- (wo) man show in which the artist, instead of chaining a series of sketches, talks about himself, Others, subjects that are close to his heart, often in the tone of comedy and derision. This passion for this theatrical genre will not leave it anymore and even today, Alison triumphs with her one-woman show confessions of a prairie bitch and very recently Return of a prairie bitch.

But Alison is not satisfied with these successes. It is very often found in many plays as well as on television or in the cinema. The Americans were able to see her, just a few months ago, on the big screen, in Surge of Power.

In addition to her artistic talents, Alison conveys a simplicity and generosity that make her a remarkable being who knew how to put her notoriety at the service of serious causes such as the fight against AIDS or pedophilia. Indeed, in 1986, actor Steve Tracy, who played Percival Dalton, the husband of Nellie Oleson, died of AIDS. Alison then loses a loved one and immediately decides to invest in the fight against this disease. She becomes an active member of Aids. She will also receive, for her involvement and her actions, several honorary awards. And then, for two years, Alison has been part of the Protect association which has focused on protecting the abused and abused children ... Another cause that is particularly close to his heart!

Alison, married in second marriage to the musician Bob Schoonover, since 1993, is therefore a multi-facet character who knew how to conquer the hearts of people very early by his artistic qualities as by his human qualities.
