Biography for William Windom

Born September 28, 1923, still having comedy projects (a film is in preparation for next year), he gave the reply to Peter Falk in the famous TV movie who was going to give life to the character of Columbo, "prescription Murder" in 1968.

William Windom was an American actor known for his many appearances on television and cinema. Born September 28, 1923 in New York, he grew up in Connecticut and studied at Yale University before continuing dramatic art studies at the University of North Carolina.

Windom began his acting career in the 1940s and played in many plays before making his television debut in the 1950s. He made his cinema debut in 1960 in the film "The Time Machine "De George Pal, in which he played the main role.

Windom was best known for his roles on television, where he played in many popular series over the decades. He notably played in "Star Trek", "The Twilight Zone", "The Farmers Daughter" and "Murder, She Wrote". He also played in television series like "The Love Boat" and "Charmed".

In addition to his acting career, Windom was also a talented artist and exhibited his paintings in many art galleries. He was also a passionate golf player and participated in several professional tournaments.

Windom died on August 16, 2012, at the age of 88, after a heart attack. His acting career lasted more than seven decades and he left behind an impressive heritage of work in the world of cinema and television.
