They are young, beautiful and tanned, they are athletic and achieve all kinds of aquatic performance, they are models and present the latest fashionable swimsuits.

They are installed in a magnificent hotel on the Mexican coast, and look more like a small golden youth sample on vacation than a countelewing team, and yet ... They regularly receive their mission orders from a certain Mr. Smith whose office is in New York, somewhere in the depths of the UN building, and which would deny any relation to our young team if of adventure, it was unhappiness to one of them in the 'accomplishment of his mission (does that remind you of anything? If, yes, look well!) ...

The context is that of the cold post-war, and in this era of "peaceful coexistence", where nothing can deteriorate still-west relations, there are many terrorist networks whose interest (ideological or financial) is Rather to maintain discord between the two blocks.

The Acapulco H.E.A.T. ("Hemisphere Emergency Action Team") is led by Ashley Hunter Coddington and Mike Savage, former CIA agent. The team, composed in total of six people, includes Tommy Chase, specialist in martial arts, Catherine "Cat" Pascal, Brette Richards, and Krissie Valentine, computer engineering.

Ashley Hunter Coddington, a lovely young Englishwoman, is the only daughter of an ambassador, whose golden youth was broken by the assassination of her mother by terrorists from the "Red Brigade". This drama upsets his life. A spoiled child, Ashley becomes a determined young woman. She joined the small team of the Acapulco agency, and engages all her energy and intelligence in the fight against terrorism ...

Agency Acapulco (Acapulco H.E.A.T. in English) was an American television series broadcast between 1993 and 1999. The series was inspired by James Bond films and staged a group of secret agents working for a secret organization called Acapulco Agency. The action took place mainly in Acapulco, Mexico, and the agents had to face criminals, terrorists and other dangerous enemies.

The group was led by the charismatic and competent Cody Abilene, played by actor Michael Shanks. He was assisted by the expert in martial arts Ashley Hunter, interpreted by Katrina Hobbs, and by the engineering of Brett Chase technology, played by Bruce Campbell. The group was also made up of several other members, including the Italian playboy Dante Giovanni, played by Antonio Sabàto Jr., and the young English recruit Alex Carter, played by Lisa Howard.

Agency Acapulco was a series of adventures with a lot of action and suspense, skillfully mixing intrigue and romance. The series was well received by criticism and viewers, and won several prizes when it was broadcast. It is still considered today as one of the best series of spying of all time.

The intial H.E.A.T. of the original title ("Acapulco H.E.A.T.") signify: "Hemisphere Emergency Action Team", which could be translated as "World Intervention Team".

Actor David Carradine, the eternal hero of the Kung Fu series, made an appearance in the episode "Vol 401" (season 2, episode 25).
