Corky (Life Goes On) is an American television series broadcast between 1989 and 1993 on the ABC channel. The series followed the adventures of an average American family, the Thacher, whose eldest son, Charles "Corky" Thacher, suffered from Down syndrome. The series highlighted the challenges faced by this family, while approaching subjects such as difference, acceptance and inclusion.

Corky was interpreted by Chris Burke, an actor with Down syndrome, who won a Primetime Emmy Award for his role in 1992. The series also included Patti Lupone in the role of the mother of the family, Libby Thacher, and Bill Smitrovich In that of the father, Drew Thacher.

In addition to highlighting the challenges facing the Thacher family, the series also tackled subjects such as homosexuality, drugs and HIV/AIDS. The series was greeted for its positive and realistic representation of people with Down syndrome, as well as for its way of dealing with these difficult subjects.

Despite his positive criticisms, Corky (Life Goes On) did not have great success with the public and was canceled after four seasons. However, it was considered a pioneer in the representation of people with disabilities on television, and paved the way for other television series that approach these subjects.
