Synopsis

This series recounts the life of a unit of the M.A.S.H (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital) during the Korean War. It stages American doctors and soldiers who let themselves go to humor, just to forget the pangs of a difficult daily life.

Humor, sympathetic and delusional characters with evocative nicknames (fire lips, lynx eye) and the customs of revelers, m*a*s is also the sunset of a war that strangely recalls that from Vietnam, contemporary with the creation of the series (1972).

Mas*H is an American television series which was broadcast from 1972 to 1983. The series takes place during the Korean War and follows the team of the 4077th mobile medical battalion of the American army, nicknamed "Mash" (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital). The medical center is installed in an area of ​​war and the characters in the series must face the horrors of war while trying to maintain their humanity and their sense of humor.

The main character in the series is corporal Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce, a talented and charming surgeon. He is accompanied by his teammate and childhood friend, corporal Maxwell Q. Klinger, a man with desperate research of a means of leaving the army. The series also follows the adventures of the nurse Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan, the chief doctor of the battalion, Major Frank Burns, and the charismatic battalion surgeon, Lieutenant-Colonel Henry Blake.

M*a*s*H is one of the most innovative sitcoms of the 70s'. His style and narration were very appreciated and helped him keep very high in the audiences.
