In Tree Hill, a small quiet town in South Carolina, everyone knows the Scott brothers. If they have the same name, everything separates and brings both the two adolescents closer. One, Nathan, arrogant and sure of him, lives the dreams that his father Dan, a former star of basketball, could not satisfy. The other, Lucas, calm and posed, seeks to honor Karen, his single mother.

Following a sanction inflicted on part of the players of the Nathan club, Whitey Durham, emblematic coach of the team, offers Lucas to integrate the group. After a first refusal, the adolescent ends up accepting yielding to the arguments of his mother and his uncle Keith. Then begins between the two half-brothers an open struggle on several grounds, sport, friendship and love.

Peyton, Nathan's girlfriend, is attracted to Lucas, while Haley, her spiritual sister, Nathan disorder. All this to which is added the quarrels and resentments of adults, the projection of their lives on that of their children, the emotional and financial issues.

The Scott brothers is an American television series which was broadcast between 2003 and 2012 on the The WB network, then on The CW. The series features the adventures of two brothers, Lucas and Nathan Scott, who live in the small town of Tree Hill, in North Carolina. Lucas is a shy and reserved boy who has trouble integrating into his high school, while Nathan is a talented and popular basketball player. The two brothers have tense relations because of their differences and the constant rivalry which opposes them.

Over the series, we follow their evolution as a characters, as well as that of their friends and family. We are witnessing in particular the emergence of a romantic relationship between Lucas and Peyton, one of Nathan's friends, as well as the birth of their daughter, Sawyer. The series addresses themes such as friendship, love, rivalry, family and parent-child relationships.

The Scott brothers was acclaimed by criticism for his realistic and authentic approach to the problems with which adolescents are confronted. The series has won numerous prizes, including two Teen Choice Awards, and was nominated for a people's Choice Award and an Award satellite.
