The series features Keanu Reeves in the main role, playing a professional baseball player who is forced to coach a team from Little League to repay a game debt. The series follows the adventures of Reeves as a team coach, which includes a variety of children with unique personalities and stories. By working with the team, Reeves is faced with a number of challenges and obstacles, but he finally managed to help them become a united and competitive team. In addition to reeves, the casting of the series also includes Brian Robbins, Daniel Stern, Faye Grant and Bumper Robinson. The series was created by Tim Kring and John McNamara, and was produced by the Robbins television production company, Varsity Pictures.
