Synopsis

This series relates the adolescence of Kevin Arnold from 1968 to 1973. The story is told by the voiceover of Kevin Adult which explains how each of these events contributed to the development of his personality and he describes his daily life with his joys , its sorrows and its discoveries with the backdrop of American society in the midst of Vietnam War.

Kevin is therefore 12 years old at the start of the series. His friends are the faithful Paul with his eternal glasses and the pretty Winnie. At home, his big brother Wayne persecutes him a little while his sister Karen, older, lives his life. And to complete the painting, his parents, Norma and Jack.

The intercale series of archive images with the scenes of Kevin's life to show both the story of a boy, and that of a country.

The years favorite (The Wonder Years) is an American television series which was broadcast from 1988 to 1993. The series follows the adventures of Kevin Arnold, a growing teenager, and his family in the quiet area of ​​the city Fictive of Winnfield, in the 1960s.

Each episode begins with an adult narrator (voice of Daniel Stern) who remembers the events of the episode, offering reflections on life and lost innocence of adolescence. The episodes cover a wide range of subjects, ranging from the first emotional emotions of Kevin to his conflicts with his parents, friends and teachers.

The series features Fred Savage in the role of Kevin, Dan Lauria and Alley Mills in the roles of her parents, Jack and Norma Arnold, and Jason Hervey in the role of his older brother, Wayne. The series won numerous prizes, including an Emmy Award for the best comic television series in 1988 and 1989, as well as the Golden Globe Award for best actor in a comic or musical television series for Fred Savage in 1989.
