Biography for Lori LoughlinLori Anne Loughlin (born July 28, 1965 in Hauppauge, New York) is an American actress. She attended Oceanside Oaks school #3 and Hauppauge High.
Lori Loughlin began her career at age twelve as a print model. During her early teen years she appeared in television commercials, and was frequently seen in national print ads like the Sears catalog and Bradlees weekly flyers. At fifteen years of age, Lori was cast on ABC's soap opera, The Edge of Night playing the part of Jody Travis, an aspiring dancer. After three-and-a-half years, prompted by the urging of her fellow actor, the late Joel Crothers, Lori decided to try her luck in feature films and television. Lori's most well known role to date has been that of Rebecca Donaldson on Full House.
She now has her new show, Summerland. She plays Ava, the aunt of three children which she has to raise due to an unfortunate car accident, in which their parents died.
Dazzled by actress Judith Garland in "The Magician of Oz", she wanted from the age of 5 to become an actress. Daughter of a good family (her father was one of the officials of the largest American telephone company), she was initiated very early on multiple artistic disciplines: dance, jazz, piano, violin ... etc. Very pretty girl, she began her career at the age of 11 as a model, especially for the cosmetic brand "Avon". During her first years as a teenager, she appeared in advertising films on television and was frequently seen in national advertisements in magazines such as the Sears catalog and the weekly Prospectus Bradlees. She then chained TV movies without real success. Refusing to play naked, she saw the female role of the "blue lagoon" which will return to Brooke Shields and which will be able to know. Loughlin made his television debut in 1982 in the Paper Dolls series, before appearing in series like Summerland and The Edge of Night. In 1987, she joined the cast of Full House, where she played the role of Rebecca Donaldson-Katsopolis for eight seasons. Following her success in this series, she joined the cast of 90210: new generation in 2008, where she played the role of Debbie Wilson for two seasons.
Apart from his roles on television, Loughlin also played in films such as The Night Before, Back To The Beach and Movers & Shakers. She also produced and co-produced the Summerland television series, which was broadcast on the WB channel for two seasons.
In 2019, Loughlin was involved in a corruption scandal in university admission, in which influential parents paid large sums of money to obtain places for their children in prestigious universities. She was accused of postal fraud and conspiracy to hit the higher education establishments, and pleaded guilty in May 2020.
