His role as Trinity in the Trilogy (Matrix in 1999, Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions in 2003) of the Andy Wachowski brothers and Larry Wachowski, brings him glory. She continues with yet another action film, New Blood (1999), before changing her register for chocolate in 2000, a romance in which she is Caroline Clairmont, a very protective mother who opposes Juliette Binoche. A busy year for the actress since she also finds herself in the credits of the comedy The Crew, the Thriller Memento, and the science fiction film Red Planet.
Accustomed to action films, we will not be surprised to find her alongside Tom Cruise For Mission: Impossible 3.
