Gonzalez grew up in the Washington Heights district and has attended New York City School. After graduating, he continued theater studies at New York University.
Gonzalez started his acting career by playing in plays in New York before moving to Los Angeles to continue his career on the screen. He made his cinema debut in 2002 in the film "Clockstoppers", in which he played the role of Leo. He then played in several other films, notably "Roll Bounce" (2005), "War of the Worlds" (2005) and "The Great Debaters" (2007).
Gonzalez has also appeared in many television series, including "The Good Guys" (2010), "Arrow" (2012-2020) and "The Flash" (2014-2022). He also played in dramatic series such as "Revenge" (2011-2013) and "The purge" (2018-2022). In addition to his acting work, Gonzalez is also a film and television producer.
Apart from his acting career, Gonzalez is also passionate about music and plays the guitar in a rock group called "The Young Veins".
