Estelle Getty has camped the role of Sophia Petrillo in the series "The Golden Girls" (in France, "Les Créltes" or in Belgium "Carré d'As") for 7 years and 180 episodes. Role which allowed her to win numerous prizes including a Golden Globe in 1986 and an Emmy Award in 1988. She then played in "Golden Palace" (in 1992 and 1993) and "Empty Nest" (between 1993 and 1995).
Subsequently, she played the Guest-Star in many series, notably in “Dingue de toi”, “Les Anges du happiness” and in the four spin-offs of “The Golden Girls”, unpublished in France.
