Edwin "Eddie" Velez is a Hispanian-American actor, born June 04, 1958 in New York. He began his career while he was carrying out his military service in the Air Force in Sunnyvale in California, at the Sunnyvale Air Force Base. In 1981, he honorably arrested his service and left for Los Angeles to continue his career.

In 1983: he made his 1st television appearance in the TV "For Love and Honor". But it was in 1984 that he obtained his biggest role, that of Napoleon "Napo" Rodriguez in the cult film "Repo Man" alongside Emilio Estevez and Harry Dean Stanton.

In 1986: Eddie interpreted the role of Alonzo, in the Soap Opera, it was his 1st role in a TV series. A year later he endorses that of Frankie "Dishpan" Santana, new member of "The Tous Risks Agency". This series was in its 5th and last season.

In 1988: he played the role of John Hernandez in the series "Trial and Error". He will later appear in the shoes of officer John Avila in "True Blue".

Eddie also interpreted Alexander Garciaalexander in the "Port Charles" operas and later that of Paul Mendez in "Days and lives".

He played the star guests in Cagney & Lacey, Hill Street Blues, Walker, Texas Ranger, Pacific Blue and Numb3rs.

Eddie Velez is an American actor known for his roles in television series and films. He was born on November 24, 1958 in New York, in the Bronx district. Velez started his career by playing in plays and working as a model before embarking on the world of cinema and television.

Velez made his television debut in the 1980s, playing in series like Hill Street Blues, Miami Vice and L.A. Law. He also played in films such as Scarface and The Last Dragon. In the 1990s, he continued to play in popular series like Melrose Place and The Young and The Restless.

In addition to his roles in television series, Velez also played in television films, such as The Nanny Express and Love on the Run. He also appeared in television shows like The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Night With Conan O'Brien.
