Henry presented a program on NBC radio in 1950 and appeared on Broadway (particularly in the musical Kisset) before ensuring his most famous role for the small screen.

Henry sang the children's song Never smile at a crocodile for the Disneyland discs, a recording which was later reissued in the CD audio Peter Pan. He also sang Slowly He Sank to the Botton of the Sea in the movie Babes in Toyland.

After Zorro and his contract with Disney finished, Henry appeared in many episodes of the 1960s television series as very special agents in 1964 or Mannix in 1967.

He also kept contact with the other members of the Zorro team, and even traveled with Guy Williams in 1973 in Argentina to participate in a work of charity.

He died of cancer in his Dallas house in Texas on October 6, 1975, 57 years old.
