, 1941 - July 26, 2002) was a British actor best known for his role as Security Chief Tony Verdeschi in the second season of the 1970s television series Space: 1999, Paul Buchet in The Protectors, and as Charles Frere in the BBC drama series Howards' Way. He was a continuity announcer for the BBC World Service. He also made a guest appearance on the Only Fools and Horses episode To Hull and Back as Boycie's business partner Abdul.

He was the father of actor Christian Anholt. He married and divorced twice (his second wife was the actress Tracey Childs), and died in London of a brain tumor.

Tony Anholt was a British actor better known for his role in the head of security Tony Verdeschi, in the second season of the 70s series "Cosmos 1999", by Paul Buchet in "Iron Handle and Seduction" and Charles Frere in "Howards Way", a dramatic series broadcast on the BBC.

He was the father of actor Christian Anholt. He married and divorced twice (his second wife was actress Tracey Childs), he died in Loàndres from a brain tumor.

Tony Anholt was an English actor known for his role in the television series "Melon hat and leather boots" in the 60s. He was born on January 19, 1941 in London and died on January 26, 2002 at the age of 61 years .

Anholt began his acting career by playing in theatrical productions in London before making himself known thanks to his role as Scott Tracy in the television series "Melon hat and leather boots". He also played in other popular television productions, such as "The Saint" and "the investigations of Commissioner Maigret".

Apart from his acting career, Anholt was also an experienced pilot and an aviation enthusiast. He participated in several sailing competitions and was also a line pilot for an airline.

Unfortunately, Anholt died in 2002 following a long illness. His acting career has left an indelible imprint in the history of British television and is still considered one of the most talented actors of his generation.
