Born in Burbank, California, USA on October 18, 1961, Erin Moran is the youngest daughter of Sharon and Edward Moran who have five other children. She attended Walter Reed Junior High School for one year and North Hollywood High School for another year. Her first professional acting job was in a TV commercial. She played Richie Cunningham's baby sister, Joanie on ABC's "Happy Days" (1974), however, this was not Erin's first major TV series. She was a regular on the series, "Daktari" (1966). She has also made guest appearances on TV series, as "The Waltons", "Family Affair", "My Three Sons", "The Courtship of Eddie's Father", "Gunsmoke", "The Smith Family" and "The F.B.I.".

Erin Moran has worked on feature films with Debbie Reynolds in How Sweet It Is! (1968), with Godfrey Cambridge in Watermelon Man (1970) and with Wayne Newton in 80 Steps to Jonah (1969).

Born in 1961 in Los Angeles, she is the youngest of a family of 6 children.

She made her first advertising spot at the age of six and she became a regular member of television programs "Daktari" (1968-69) and "The Don Rickles Show" (1972).

Before "Happy Days", she made appearances in various TV, theater or cinema project: "My Three Sons", "Family Affair", "How Sweet It Is" (1968), "Watermelon Man" ( 1970).

After the dazzling success of "Happy Days", where she plays an increasingly important role as the seasons progresses, Erin Moran becomes the co-protagonist of the T.V. "Joanie Loves Chachi" series, a spin-off of "Happy Days". When this series ended in 1983, she returned to "Happy Days" for the last season.

After a period of personal problems at the end of the 80s, she resumed her acting activities and she participated in three episodes of "the cruise has fun" and one of "Arabesque". After a small role in the film "Dear God" by Garry Marshall in March 1997, she participated in a special program on VH-1 "Groovin 'on the Tube".

After the end of Joanie Loves Chachi, Moran continued to appear in television series and television films, but failed to find the success that She had known in Happy Days. She died on April 22, 2017 at the age of 56.
