Molly Sims was born on May 25, 1973 in Murray, Kentucky to Jim and Dottie Sims. Following her graduation from high school Molly attended Vanderbilt University with hopes to pursue a law career. Two years into college she submitted a few photographs of herself to a modeling agency at the suggestion of her roommate. When Sims received a call from NEXT Models she dropped out of college to pursue modeling. Although Molly has appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and has a multi-year contract with CoverGirl she is most famous for her role as Delinda Deline in NBC's TV show Las Vegas (2003). Molly Sims has also appeared in several movies including Starsky & Hutch (2004) and The Benchwarmers (2006).

After 2 years of law studies at Vanderbilt University, Molly began her modeling career in 1993. She made the 2000 and 2001 editions of the Sport Illustrated Swimsuit magazine, the result of the MTV House of Style program since 2000.

It is particularly known for its role in the Las Vegas series.

She was the partner of Enrique Murciano one of the actors in the FBI series, who have been missing. Separated in 2005 and were again together in 2006.

She then started her career as a model by signing a contract with the Elite Model Management agency. She made the cover of many fashion magazines, such as Vogue, Glamor and Sports Illustrated, where she was chosen as "Sports Illustrated Sports" in 2000, 2001 and 2006.

In 2002, Sims began her acting career playing in the film Starsky & Hutch. She then played in several films, such as The Benchwarmers and Yes Man, as well as in television series such as Las Vegas and The Exes. In 2008, she also produced and played in the film The Love Guru.

Apart from her acting career, Sims is also an activist for ecology and health. She wrote a book entitled The Everyday Supermodel: My Beauty, Fashion, and Wellness Tips for Staying Fit, Fab, and Fabulous! And she is also the ambassador of the awareness campaign "Every Mother Cants".

Sims has been married to producer Scott Stuber since 2011. In 2012, she gave birth to a son, Brooks Alan Stuber, and in 2014, she welcomed a girl, Scarlett May Stuber. In 2016, she had a second son, Gray Douglas Stuber.
