Robert Lansing was an American actor born June 5, 1929 in San Diego in California, and died on October 23, 1994 in New York. He was known for his roles in films and television series from the 1950s to 1980s.
Lansing began his acting career by appearing in theater productions in New York, before embarking on cinema and television. He made his cinema debut by playing in films such as "The Set-Up" and "The Boston Strangler". In the 1960s, he played in popular television series such as "Mission: Impossible" and "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.". He also played in films such as "The Boston Strangler" and "The Stepford Wives".
Lansing was known for his beautiful deep voice and his expressive face, which earned him many roles of authoritarian or threatening characters. He was also a talented and versatile actor, capable of playing both dramatic and comical roles.
