Gordon Jackson was a Scottish actor known for his work in films and television series. He was born on December 19, 1923 in Glasgow in Scotland and died on January 15, 1990 in London in England.

Jackson began his acting career by playing in Scottish plays before being noticed by film and television producers. He notably played in films such as "Men in black" and "Tintin's adventures: Le Temple du Soleil". His best known performance is undoubtedly the one he delivered in the television series "The surveys of the unlimited business office", in which he played the role of the Hudson butler.

Jackson was also known for his talent as a dubbing actor, and he lent his voice to many animated films and series. In 1987, he was appointed for a BAFTA for his performance in the television series "The Old Men At The Zoo".

Despite his successful career, Jackson was a modest and discreet man who preferred to stay outside the ramp fires. He died in 1990, at the age of 66, after a long illness. His death was greeted by many colleagues and fans, who paid tribute to his talented career.
