Synopsis

This series features Doctor Mark Sloan who helps a police service to resolve criminal investigations as a consultant. Steve Sloan, Mark's son, is a very competent police officer who takes a helping hand from his father to resolve his difficult things.

Mark works at the Community General Hospital in Los Angeles with Amanda Livingstone, then Bentley, who is one of his friends, and on whom he can count to resolve the surveys. During the first two seasons, Jack Stewart assists Mark, Steve and Amanda and then decides to go and exercise in Colorado. From the third season, Jesse Travis takes over.

When Victoria Rowell became pregnant during hiatus, her pregnancy was explained by having her get married to a serviceman who was never seen on the show.

The character of Doctor Mark Sloan was first seen in an episode of "Jake and the Fatman" (1987).

When Scott Baio left the show, his absence was explained by having his character, Jack Stewart, quit his job at Community General to start his own practice in Colorado.
