Buffy Summers is seems to be a young high school student like all the others. Except that she lives in Sunnydale, a city located above hell and that she was elected to fight the vampires and the other evil powers present on Earth. She will have to fight all her life to save her fellow men thanks to her superhuman strength and the support of her friends.

Buffy against vampires is an American television series created by Joss Whedon. The series was broadcast for the first time in 1997 and ended in 2003. It followed the story of Buffy Summers, a teenager who was chosen to fight the vampires and other forces of evil in the small town of Sunnydale.

Buffy is accompanied by his friends Willow and Xander, who help him in his fight against vampires. She is also helped by her mentor, Rupert Giles, who is the school librarian and teaches her everything she should know about the forces of evil.

The series was a critical and commercial success, and has won numerous awards, including a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She was also widely praised for her representation of strong and complex female characters, as well as for her black humor and deep themes.

During the shooting of the series, Sarah Michelle Gellar had some difficulty adapting to the intense pace of work. She was sleeping little and spent her time on the sets.
