Synopsis

Two years after the passage of Hurricane Katrina, chaos still reigns in New Orleans. The criminals have invested the streets that many police officers deserted, and the prisons, the police stations have not yet been rebuilt. Some police officers are however determined to restore order.

K-Ville was an American television series broadcast on the Fox channel in 2007. The series took place in New Orleans, a few years after Hurricane Katrina, and followed the adventures of two police officers, Marlin Boulet and Trevor Cobb, while 'They patrolled the streets of the city while trying to maintain order and rebuild their community. The series highlighted the different facets of life in New Orleans, including tensions between the different communities of the city and the difficulties encountered by the police to maintain order in a post-catastrophe environment .

The main actors of K-Ville were Anthony Anderson and Cole Hauser, who interpreted Marlin Boulet and Trevor Cobb respectively. The series was created by Jonathan Lisco and produced by Kathleen McManus and Bob Delaurentis. Unfortunately, K-Ville lasted only one season, due to bad audiences, and was canceled in 2008. However, the series was welcomed by criticism for its realism and its commitment to the reconstruction of the new -Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
