Synopsis

We are in 3085. The earth is dominated by the monkeys, and men (who have not yet lost the use of speech) are barely tolerated servants in cities.

It was then that a spacecraft left in 1980 lands with on board the astronauts Allen vord and Pete Burke (a third man, Jones, does not survive the crash). Captured by the monkeys, they are saved by Galen, a chimpanzee who got friends for them. Having recovered aboard the spacecraft from the space flight, this unusual trio goes in search of a hypothetical human colony which would have enough scientific knowledge to bring VinDon and Burke in their time. But they are also forced to flee Urko, a gorilla which wears a deadly hatred ...

The Planet of the Apes is an American television series based on the franchise of the same name, which was broadcast between 1974 and 1975. The series follows the adventures of a group of human astronauts who find themselves on a planet filled with speaking monkeys, who took control of this land and established a complex hierarchical society.

The story begins while the crew of the Astronef Icarus, composed of Commander Peter Burke, Doctor Galen, Pilot Alan Vord and mechanic Bill Hudson, is on a mission in space. Following a calculation error, the vessel crashes on an unknown planet, where the four men find themselves prisoners of intelligent monkeys.

Humans are quickly sent to work camps, where they are subject to difficult conditions and are forced to work hard for monkeys. But thanks to their intelligence and their ingenuity, humans manage to escape and set out to find a way to leave the planet.

Throughout their trip, humans face many dangers and meet different monkeys clans, each with their own culture and their own rules. They also learn that monkeys have a complex past and a complex political hierarchy, with internal conflicts between the different factions.

Despite obstacles, humans continue to seek a way to go home, while fighting for their survival and trying to understand the monkeys and their culture. With the help of a few allies monkeys, they finally manage to recover their ship and leave the planet, leaving behind a world where the monkeys have taken over humans.
