SynopsisProfile at the FBI, Samantha Waters is able to visualize a crime through the eyes of the killer and his victim, from what she raises on the murder scene. Thanks to this gift, she tracks her husband's assassin. Profiler was an American television series broadcast between 1996 and 2000. The series followed the adventures of a team of behavioral science experts who worked for the FBI and used their skills to capture criminals by analyzing their behavior. The main character in the series was a woman named Dr Samantha Waters, interpreted by Ally Walker. The series featured surveys on violent crimes, including serial murders, and explored the motivations and methods used by criminals to commit their crimes. The Profilers team was led by an FBI agent named John Grant, interpreted by Robert Davi. Profiler was a very popular series at the time of its broadcasting, partly because of its fascinating stories and its complex characters. The series has won several prizes and was nominated for many others. It has also been broadcast in many countries around the world. Despite its success, Profiler was canceled after four seasons due to disputes between the channel and the producers of the series.
