Very special agents (The Man From U.N.C.L.E) was an American television series which was broadcast for the first time in 1964. The series was centered on the adventures of two secret agents, one American and the other Soviet, who worked Together to combat international crime. The agents were members of a secret organization called U.N.C.L.E., or United Network Command for Law and Enforcement. The main character in the series was the American agent Napoleon Solo, interpreted by actor Robert Vaughn. Soviet agent Illya Kuryakin was played by actor David McCallum. Their superior, Alexander Waverly, was interpreted by actor Leo G. Carroll. The series was known for its espionage comedy style and for its use of high-tech gadgets. It was very popular at the time of its broadcast and won several prizes, including a Primetime Emmy for the best comedy series. The series was broadcast for four seasons, from 1964 to 1968. Since then, it has been broadcast in syndication in many countries and has been adapted in several films, including a 2015 film entitled "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." With Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer in the main roles.
