Richard Jaeckel est un acteur américain né le 10 octobre 1926 à Long Beach, en Californie. Il a commencé sa carrière d'acteur dans les années 1940 et a continué à travailler jusqu'à sa mort en 1997. Il a été nominé pour un Oscar pour son rôle dans le film Le plus grand des combattants en 1975.
Jaeckel a joué dans de nombreux films et séries télévisées au cours de sa carrière. Il a été particulièrement actif dans les années 1950 et 1960, où il a joué dans des films tels que Les guerriers de la nuit, Le train sifflera trois fois, et Le vieux fou et l'espion.
