Acteur britannique connu pour son rôle du père dans la pièce «The Reluctant Debutante» qui fut présentée à Londres et aux Etats-Unis durant les années 50. Il apparut dans des films comme «The Third Man» (1950), «The Browning Version» (1951) et «My Fair Lady» (1964) de même que dans les séries télé «Peyton Place», «The Associates» et «Buck Rogers in the 25th Century». Il meurt à Woodland Hills, en Californie, le 6 mai 1991.
Wilfrid Hyde-White était un acteur britannique né le 12 mai 1903 à Bourton-on-the-Water, en Angleterre. Il a commencé sa carrière d'acteur à la fin des années 1920 et a joué dans de nombreuses productions théâtrales avant de se lancer dans le cinéma et la télévision.
Hyde-White était surtout connu pour ses rôles comiques et ses performances en tant qu'acteur de doublage. Il a été la voix de personnages tels que le major Augustus Ffoukes dans "Votre argent ou votre vie" et le colonel Pickering dans "My Fair Lady". Il a également joué dans des films tels que "Le tour du monde en 80 jours" avec David Niven et Shirley MacLaine, et "Les aventures d'un homme invisible" avec Rock Hudson et Susan Strasberg.
Hyde-White était également connu pour ses performances en tant qu'acteur de théâtre, notamment dans les productions de Shakespeare. Il a joué dans des pièces telles que "Macbeth", "Hamlet" et "Le marchand de Venise".
