Limited series “Masters of the Air” : Spielberg and Hanks are back on Apple TV+

The highly anticipated limited series “Masters of the Air” is set to premiere globally on Apple TV+ on January 26, 2024. This new World War II drama is produced by Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman. The series features a stellar cast and is expected to be a major hit.

The series will consist of nine episodes, with the first two episodes set to be released on January 26 and followed by one new episode every Friday through March 15, 2024.

Plot and Production Details

The series is based on Donald L. Miller’s book of the same name, and follows the men of the 100th Bomb Group (the “Bloody Hundredth”) as they conduct perilous bombing raids over Nazi Germany. The psychological and emotional toll paid by these young men as they helped destroy the horror of Hitler’s Third Reich will be at the heart of the series.

“Masters of the Air” is a massive cinematic achievement, offering a unique portrayal of a crucial time in world history. The series is executive produced by Spielberg through Amblin Television, along with Hanks and Goetzman for Playtone.
