Apple TV ne recevra pas Apple Intelligence cet automne : une déception pour les utilisateurs

Apple TV 4K Misses Out on Apple Intelligence in the Fall

Apple held its Worldwide Developer Conference to unveil the Apple Intelligence (“AI”) system, a personal intelligence system for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. While the AI system promises to deliver useful and relevant intelligence by combining generative models with personal context, Apple TV and Apple Watch will not be receiving this update, leaving some users surprised.

Notable Devices Included in the Apple Intelligence Rollout

Despite Siri’s presence on Apple TV 4K, the device does not make the list of supported devices for Apple Intelligence at launch. The initial devices set to receive Apple Intelligence this fall include the latest iPhone, iPad, and Mac models. The exclusion of Apple TV raises questions about the reasoning behind the decision.

Only devices running on Apple-designed M1 or newer processors will be compatible with Apple Intelligence, with the iPhone being the exception. This exclusivity may pave the way for new Apple TV hardware in the future to support the AI system.

Possible Reasons for Apple TV Exclusion

The absence of Apple TV from the list of supported devices for Apple Intelligence could be due to its intended use cases. Functions like writing tools and visual expression enhancements may not align with the typical TV viewing experience. However, incorporating Siri integration with Apple Intelligence could greatly enhance the user experience on Apple TV.

As the rollout of Apple Intelligence begins in the fall as a beta version, users can expect to see further expansion to more Apple devices over time. The decision to exclude Apple TV may prompt the development of new features or hardware upgrades in the future.
