Application combinée Disney+ et Hulu lancée le mois prochain avant un déploiement complet

Disney+ and Hulu to Launch Combined App in December

Disney+ and Hulu are set to launch a combined app in December, with a full rollout expected in spring 2024. This merge is eagerly anticipated by many subscribers of both services, as it will provide extensive general entertainment content for bundle subscribers. CEO Bob Iger recently announced the beta version of the app, which is set to test in December before the full rollout next year.

This monumental move comes after Disney recently bought out NBCUniversal’s 33 percent stake in Hulu for $8.61 billion. This acquisition will allow Disney to assume full control of the streaming service.

Expectations from the Combined Disney+ & Hulu App

The announcement of the combined app has raised expectations for users, however, it is important to note that Disney has decided to keep Disney+ and Hulu as separate streaming services. The combined app will be offered exclusively to bundle subscribers, providing a streamlined experience for users of both Disney+ and Hulu under one unified app.

In response to this news, Disney has restructured their price-discounted Disney+/Hulu bundle plans to offer users the combined experience at $9.99 per month with ads and $19.99 per month without ads. This shift in pricing reflects Disney’s commitment to offering a high-quality streaming experience to its subscribers.

The upcoming beta test is intended to give subscribers ample time to set up their accounts and any parental controls ahead of the full launch, likely in late March. Once the combined app is completely up and running, it will offer a wide range of general entertainment content to bundle subscribers, setting it apart as a leading streaming service in the market.
