Sporting Kansas City continues its push for the playoffs with a Western Conference clash against Minnesota United FC. The game will take place at Allianz Field in Saint Paul, Minnesota on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. CT.
BROADCAST DETAILS
The match will be broadcast live on Apple TV for MLS Season Pass subscribers. It will be available in both English and Spanish. Local radio coverage will be provided by ESPN Kansas City 94.5 FM and 1510 AM, as well as La Grande 1340 AM. The Sporting KC app will also offer streaming options. Additionally, the Sporting Pub Network will show the game at various venues.
INTERNATIONAL DUTY
Two Sporting KC players, Marinos Tzionis from Cyprus and Gadi Kinda from Israel, are currently on international duty for UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying. Tzionis will face Spain today at 1:45 p.m. CT, while Kinda’s Israel will take on Belarus on Tuesday at the same time.

MLS ROSTER FREEZE
The MLS Roster Freeze Date is set for Friday. This means that all teams must submit their final 30-man roster for the rest of the 2023 season. According to MLS rules, no changes can be made to a team’s roster, except in cases of Extreme Hardship, from the Roster Freeze Date until the day after MLS Cup, which is scheduled for December 9.
SKC ACADEMY AND SKC II
The Sporting KC Academy teams will begin the 2023-24 MLS NEXT season with matches against the Dallas Hornets and FC Dallas. The U-14s, U-15s, and U-17s will have a tripleheader against the Dallas Hornets on Saturday, followed by a tripleheader against FC Dallas on Sunday. Additionally, the Sporting KC Academy U-19s will play an away match against the Little Rock Rangers Soccer Club on Sunday at 2 p.m. CT.
Sporting Kansas City II, the club’s reserve team, will also be in action this weekend. They have secured a spot in the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs and will play their final away game of the regular season against MNUFC2 on Sunday at 5 p.m. CT. The match will be streamed live on Apple TV via MLS Season Pass.
