Billy Miller, known for his roles in popular soap operas such as The Young and the Restless and General Hospital, has died. He was 43 years old.
According to reports, Miller passed away on September 15, just two days before his 44th birthday.
A Promising Career Cut Short
Born on September 17, 1979, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Miller began his acting career on the small screen with a guest appearance on CSI: NY in 2006. This marked the beginning of a busy schedule for the up-and-coming actor.
In 2007, Miller landed a regular role on All My Children, playing the character Richie Novak. He left the show in 2008 to join The Young and the Restless as Billy Abbott, a role he portrayed from 2008 to 2014.
A Soap Opera Icon
While working on The Young and the Restless, Miller also appeared in other popular television shows such as Justified, Ringer, Fatal Honeymoon, Castle, and the original CSI.
He later joined the cast of General Hospital, where he remained from 2014 to 2019. Throughout his career, Miller won three Daytime Emmy Awards for his outstanding acting work on The Young and the Restless.
In addition to his soap opera success, Miller starred in the acclaimed USA Network legal drama Suits, portraying the character Marcus Specter, the brother of Harvey (Gabriel Macht). He made guest appearances on the show from 2015 to 2019.
Miller’s final role was in the TV series Truth Be Told, where he recurred as Alex Dunn from 2019 to 2020.

Billy Miller’s talent and charisma extended beyond television. He also appeared in movies such as American Sniper and Bad Blood.
Prior to his acting career, Miller worked as a model with the Wilhelmina agency.
