Heche’s Role in All Rise

Anne Heche joined the cast of All Rise in Season 2 and portrayed the character of Corinne Cuthbert. Her character frequently clashed with Judge Lola Carmichael, played by Simone Missick. However, the airing of Heche’s final appearance was delayed due to a mid-Season 3 hiatus. The show’s final episodes were recently scheduled by OWN, marking the end of All Rise’s run on CBS.

Legacy and Posthumous Projects

Known for her roles in ’90s films like Donnie Brasco and Six Days, Seven Nights, Heche passed away in August 2022 following a car accident in Los Angeles. She suffered severe injuries, including burns and a severe anoxic brain injury, and was pronounced brain-dead six days after the accident. She was later taken off life support, as reported by The New York Times.

Heche leaves behind her two sons, Homer Laffoon from her previous marriage to Coleman Laffoon, and Atlas Tupper with former boyfriend James Tupper. In addition to her final appearance on All Rise, Heche is also set to appear in two post-production films. She and her son Atlas have roles in the family film Wildfire: The Legend of the Cherokee Ghost Horse, which will premiere at the Lone Star Film Festival on November 2. She also had a role in the horror film Chasing Nightmares.
