The New Disney+ Streaming Service on Spectrum TV Select
Charter Communications, Inc. and The Walt Disney Company have recently announced the availability of the ad-supported version of Disney+ in all Spectrum TV Select packages across the country at no additional cost. This means that Charter video customers can now access Disney’s iconic entertainment, including movies, TV shows, and original programs, through the Xumo Stream Box or any other Disney+ supported device.
This is part of a transformative distribution agreement between the two companies, allowing TV Select customers to enjoy both Disney’s popular streaming content and high-quality linear TV channels within one video package.
Benefits and Offerings
Disney+ is the streaming home for movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, as well as exclusive original programs, documentaries, live-action and animated series, and short-form content.
Viewers can look forward to additional episodes of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, as well as premieres such as Marvel Studios’ Echo, Star Wars: The Acolyte, and acclaimed series and blockbuster theatrical films from The Walt Disney Company.
Accessing Disney+ Basic Subscription
Spectrum TV Select customers can sign up and activate their Disney+ Basic subscription at no additional cost by visiting the Spectrum website and creating an account. Customers who already have Disney+ can easily manage their subscriptions to receive the full benefit of their Spectrum-provided service.
Complimentary Access to ESPN+
In addition to Disney+, Charter plans to include complimentary access to ESPN+ in its Spectrum TV Select Plus package in the coming months. ESPN+ offers exclusive, live sports events, including UFC events, NHL live games, college sports, international soccer, PGA TOUR LIVE coverage, and more.
