Jon Hamm et John Slattery de Mad Men font un cameo dans Unfrosted de Netflix

Mad Men’s Jon Hamm and John Slattery make surprise cameo in Netflix’s Unfrosted
Mad Men stars Jon Hamm and John Slattery have made a surprise appearance in the new Netflix movie Unfrosted, portraying their iconic characters, Don Draper and Roger Sterling, from the hit TV series.
The film is set in the 1960s and revolves around a rivalry between cereal giants Kellogg’s and Post as they strive to develop the next breakthrough breakfast product. Hamm and Slattery’s characters present a marketing pitch for Pop-Tarts to Bob Cabana (played by Jerry Seinfeld) and his team, which includes Melissa McCarthy as Donna Stankowski.
Mad Men nostalgia in comedic context
While the Mad Men actors inject a dose of nostalgia into Unfrosted’s storyline, their unconventional approach to promoting Pop-Tarts does not receive a warm welcome. Draper’s bold declaration – “The choice is yours – Raisin Bran and irrelevant, or provocative and revolutionary” – fails to impress, leading Cabana to question the harsh tactics utilized in advertising.
The confrontation peaks when Draper intimidates Cabana with a memorable line from Mad Men, before engaging in a flirtatious exchange with Stankowski.
Star-studded cast and quirky characters
Aside from Hamm and Slattery, Unfrosted boasts a star-studded lineup, with Hugh Grant embodying the role of Tony the Tiger. The ensemble cast also features Amy Schumer, Max Greenfield, James Marsden, Dan Levy, Fred Armisen, and Jack McBrayer in various quirky characters.
In a nod to Grant’s British heritage, Seinfeld shared his admiration for the actor’s portrayal of Tony the Tiger, emphasizing that the creative freedom in character accents was a defining feature of the production.
Unfrosted is now available for streaming on Netflix, offering a blend of nostalgia, humor, and innovative storytelling.
