Bigfoot joins the Monsterverse

The new photo suggests that Bigfoot is a part of the Monsterverse, surprising considering how he’s typically portrayed as a cultural phenomenon and not as a monstrous creature.

This Bigfoot’s presence in the Monsterverse raises questions about his true identity and whereabouts, possibly residing in Canada or the United States where the legend is most prominent.

Monsters in the Monsterverse

A surprise Easter egg in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters exposed the strangest creature in Legendary’s Monsterverse, showing the existence of Bigfoot among the yet unseen Titans.

11 of the Monsterverse Titans never appeared on screen, connecting them to mythological gods and monsters. Through projects like Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, the Monsterverse has opportunities to dive deeper into the many mysterious Titans that roam the planet.

Other creatures in the universe

Bigfoot is hardly the first creature associated with a folk tale or an alleged monster sighting to be brought into the Monsterverse in some form. Other creatures include the Loch Ness Monster and the Bunyip, but, as a hairy, neanderthal-like figure not much bigger than a human, Bigfoot is an even more unique addition to the Monsterverse.

The identity and location of Bigfoot

With Bigfoot being one of the confirmed monsters in this universe, it’s worth wondering who he really is and where he could be. His small size in the photo puts him on the same level as the smaller monsters in Godzilla’s world but his location in Canada or the United States has raised much interest in his whereabouts. Monarch may or may not have an outpost set up to study his activities.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is available to stream on Apple TV+.
