Will the word-guessing game show Lingo be cancelled or renewed for season three?

The Lingo TV series is the latest version of a format introduced in 1987, now hosted by RuPaul Charles. Four teams of two contestants compete in word-guessing games to build up prize money. In the final round, two remaining teams guess five and six-letter words. The winning team takes home both banks and an additional $50,000. Season two allows for longer winning streaks and bigger cash prizes.

Ratings Update

Season one of Lingo on CBS averaged a 0.37 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.60 million viewers. Ratings are a good indication of a show’s chances of survival. Stay tuned for updated ratings data as it becomes available.
