The Lingo TV series is the latest version of a format introduced in 1987, now hosted by RuPaul Charles. Four teams of two contestants compete in word-guessing games to build up prize money. In the final round, two remaining teams guess five and six-letter words. The winning team takes home both banks and an additional $50,000. Season two allows for longer winning streaks and bigger cash prizes.
