Squid Game Season 2 Release Date Announced

Netflix has announced that season 2 of the highly anticipated South Korean drama Squid Game will premiere on December 26. The streaming company also revealed that the third and final season will be released in 2025.

What to Expect in Season 2

The upcoming season will follow Seong Gi-hun’s quest for revenge three years after winning the Squid Game. Determined to uncover the people behind the game, he must re-enter the deadly competition in order to put an end to it.

Creator Teases Season 2

In an open letter to fans, series creator, director, and executive producer Hwang Dong-hyuk hinted at the intense showdown between Seong Gi-hun and the Front Man in the upcoming season. He also promised that the story will continue into the series finale with Season 3.
