“Oppenheimer” disponible en numérique, mais quand sur Peacock ?

Oppenheimer arrives on digital platforms
L’un des films les plus attendus de l’année arrive enfin sur les plateformes digitales, quatre mois après sa sortie en salles. Dès la semaine prochaine, vous pourrez acheter ou louer le film en ligne, et également acheter le film en DVD.
Christopher Nolan’s biopic, which tells the story of the man who invented the atomic bomb, J. Robert Oppenheimer, has become the third highest-grossing film of the year with nearly $949 million at the worldwide box office. It’s an incredible feat for a three-hour, R-rated, historical drama, and it’s largely thanks to the “Barbenheimer” event this summer.
Oppenheimer will be available to buy and rent digitally on Amazon Prime, Google Play, Apple TV, Vudu, and more. The price may vary depending on which platform you use to purchase the film, but on Amazon Prime, the film costs $19.99 to pre-order.
When to expect Oppenheimer streaming on Peacock
Oppenheimer will likely be on Peacock eventually because it is a Universal release, and Peacock is the Universal streaming platform. The Oppenheimer streaming release date has not yet been announced, but we can guess when it will be on Peacock based on previous Universal movie releases.
The last big Universal release, Strays, began streaming on Peacock on October 6, about seven weeks after opening in theaters, and about one month after hitting digital platforms. Obviously, Oppenheimer took a lot longer to come to digital platforms than Strays—but if it follows the same Peacock release strategy, it’s possible you will see Oppenheimer streaming on Peacock the Friday before Christmas, in December 2024.
This is all speculation, of course. If you want to watch Oppenheimer at home right away, you can do so by buying or renting the film on Tuesday.
