Prime Video avec publicités : payez 3$ de plus par mois

Prime Video introduces ads
Amazon’s Prime Video has recently implemented a new feature – the introduction of ads for its users. Despite being a paying subscriber, you can expect to start seeing ads during movies and TV programming. This major change has sparked great debate and reaction among customers.
Details about the ad implementation
This adjustment was announced by Amazon to the public in early 2023, and it has finally been put into effect. Starting January 29, anyone using Prime Video can expect to be interrupted by ads unless they’re willing to pay an additional $3 per month to bypass them. The company claims that Prime Video will have “meaningfully fewer” ads compared to traditional linear TV and other streaming TV companies.
Furthermore, the ad-free option for Max costs $16 per month, while Netflix’s ad-free tier is priced at $15.50 per month. Conversely, Prime Video’s cost has now increased to $18 per month, making it one of the most expensive platforms in the market for film and TV content. This has raised questions about whether the increase in cost is justified for users who may not want ads.
Content and upcoming releases
Prime Video is recognized for hosting an array of critically acclaimed series and movies, such as The Marvelous Ms. Maisel, The Boys, Air, Sound of Metal, and Manchester by the Sea. Additionally, upcoming adaptations of Fallout and God of War are eagerly awaited by the platform’s subscribers.
