Escape from the Biddle House
In the last episode of Goosebumps, a group of teenagers found themselves trapped in the Biddle house, unsure of how to escape.
After the ghost of Harold Biddle revealed himself to them, the group discovered that they were actually trapped inside Biddle’s notebook, with seemingly no way out.
As they explored the house, they encountered the real Mr. Bratt, who had been trapped in the house for a while and warned them that there was no escape. However, Isabella noticed a distant light in the black void outside the house, giving the group hope for a possible way to freedom.
Using curtains as a makeshift repelling system, they were able to lower Isabella down to the light, only for her to land in a hallway in their high school back in the 1990s. However, their hopes were short-lived as Isabella discovered a haunting scene in the auditorium.
Nora’s Mission and the Fight for Control
Meanwhile, Nora is determined to destroy Slappy the Dummy once and for all, leaving her friend Colin feeling neglected. Colin, feeling upset and confused, seeks advice from Ben but ends up even more baffled by the mysterious events unfolding.
As the group tries to figure out an escape plan from the notebook, they discover that causing pain to Mr. Bratt can put him back in his body, providing a potential route to freedom. However, as Mr. Bratt struggles for control of his body with the ghost of Harold, the situation becomes increasingly dire.
As the episode comes to a close, the teenagers are left wondering what will happen next as the book soaks in a puddle, and the world around them starts to disappear.
Justin Long’s Performance
Justin Long’s performance in this episode stands out as he portrays three different characters, displaying his range and acting ability. He expertly navigates the complex dynamics and struggles for control between these characters, providing a captivating and intense performance.
Despite being a side character for the most part, this episode gives Long the opportunity to shine and take control of the scene, showcasing his talent as an actor.
