Retard de sortie de Echo sur Disney+, ainsi que de la série Agatha et X-Men ’97 – Rapport

Marvel Studios has reportedly made some adjustments to its release schedule for the upcoming Disney+ series. One of the most notable changes is the delay of the Hawkeye spin-off, Echo, from November to January. This rescheduling is said to be part of Marvel’s strategy to give each Disney+ series enough space to shine.
Delaying Echo
The decision to delay Echo is in line with Marvel’s plan to avoid back-to-back releases and allow each series to have its moment. Originally, Echo was scheduled to premiere on November 29, right after the conclusion of Loki Season 2. However, Marvel now wants to give Loki Season 2 its own time in the spotlight, premiering on October 6 with a six-episode run.
Other Schedule Changes
The Hollywood writers strike and actors strike have also affected Marvel’s scheduling. One affected series is Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, previously known as Coven of Chaos. It was initially expected to premiere this winter but now has its sights set on a fall 2024 release. Similarly, X-Men ’97, an animated series that continues the story of X-Men: The Animated Series from the 1990s, will now debut in early 2024 instead of this year.
Marvel’s What If…? Season 2, another animated series, is expected to premiere around Christmas. Despite not being holiday-themed, it will add more excitement to the festive season. The show has already been confirmed for a third season as well.
Other Shows in Limbo
Several previously announced Disney+ shows are currently without release windows. Daredevil: Born Again and Wonder Man were halted mid-production due to the strikes. Meanwhile, Ironheart has finished shooting but remains incomplete due to ongoing labor disputes.
While the rescheduling may disappoint some eager fans, Marvel’s approach ensures that each series receives the attention it deserves. This strategic realignment aims to create anticipation and excitement among viewers, making the wait for these highly anticipated shows even more worthwhile.
