Révélation : Marvel comprend enfin pourquoi ses séries TV ne fonctionnent pas

Marvel has been producing television shows for the past few years, following the success of its films. However, it seems that their approach to TV is not yielding the desired results. The turning point came when Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, and the driving force behind all of Marvel’s projects, watched the first few episodes of the new Daredevil show.
A Shift in Approach
After watching the initial episodes, Feige realized that something needed to change. He quietly removed the two writers working on the show and decided to rework the entire concept of Daredevil: Born Again. This decision was made even though less than half of the planned 18 episodes had already been filmed. The decision was influenced by the ongoing strikes by the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).
A Recognition of the Problem
The realization that Marvel’s TV approach was not effective came from within the company. An insider pointed out that television is a medium driven by writers, whereas Marvel is more focused on its own brand. This recognition led Marvel to change its strategy and bring in experienced showrunners and television executives to oversee its television productions. The goal is to adopt procedures that align with industry standards and produce quality shows.
The Importance of Effective TV Production
It is not enough to simply pour money into a production and expect it to be successful. This revelation prompted Marvel to understand that television has its own unique workings, separate from its film ventures. The aim now is to create television shows that are in line with the industry’s standards and deliver exceptional content.
With this new approach, Disney’s Daredevil: Born Again has the potential to be a worthy successor to the popular Netflix show. Marvel’s shift towards a more TV-focused mindset may lead to better results and more successful television productions in the future.
